If you are looking at this advertisement most likely we do not need to explain the significance of the 16550 reference as a transitional between the 1655 and 16570. This one has totally modern looks but is a true 16550. Very strong case, bezel and overall condition is just very nice worn but good. We can have it polished to near NOS but we prefer to keep it as it is as its always meant to be a dialy watch and this one definitly is. No worries about a few extra scratches. But many examples out there are worn down and that's not what we want in a highly sought after watch like the 16550. This one definilty has lot of sharpness left.
