We get so excited from this. from the early days of the Aquanaut we bring you this stunning 5066! In the end of the 90s, this watch was launches by Patek to suit the demand from the young professionals that wanted a watch to wear all day long, both when going to swim and in the boardroom. The 5066 was launches shortly after the limited 5060. It was only made in a very short run in tritium. So only very small amount of tritium watches remain and even fewer in good condition.
This specific watch is in pretty much mint condition. there is a tiny scratch on the 12 o clock side of the bezel but that's it. It was not long ago serviced by Patek and most likely got polished there but we think that is the only time it got polished as it's supersharp and without any wear on the case. The movement is running like a high speed train ;-)(actually way over 300 amplitude for the watch enthousiasts under us).
The most amazing thing is the dial and lume. The indexes faded to a creamy yellow in a very nice even way. The hands are service hands but it was standard that patek changed these at service :-( but they all have it and in this watch it's compensated by the stunning choco colour dial that lights up brown in the right light. On the green strap it's such a nice and colourfull watch and the more and more you look at the dial the more you start seeing the amount of work and precision that went in!
It comes in it's service pouch, extract from the archives, it's original strap, a near new cut black strap, an uncut green strap(very hard to get these days)
